This place called Bear Cave is located in Vayots Dzor Marz, RA, 3 km away from Arpi village in a straight line. It is one of the largest and mos։t beautiful karst caves of the Armenian highlands. It is located at an altitude of 1655 m above sea level. Discovered by hunters in 1978.

According to meteorological studies, the average temperature of the cave is 10.2°C. The total length of the cave is 3500 meters, which goes more than 700 meters into the earth’s crust.

The name is related to the bones of bears found in one of the halls.
